Privacy Policy

TL;DR: SEO Groww is a client-side tool. We don't collect, store, or sell your data. AI generation sends your prompt to OpenRouter — read their policy for details.
1. What we collect
SEO Groww has no accounts and collects no personal data. We do not use analytics, tracking pixels, or fingerprinting. Most of the site — every generator, builder and preview — runs entirely in your browser, and what you type into those tools never leaves your device.
Two categories of feature are the exception, and both are explicit actions you take rather than anything that happens in the background:
- URL analysis. When you ask us to check, audit or compare a URL, that address is sent to our server, which fetches the page once and reads its HTML. We send no cookies or credentials, so we only ever see what an anonymous visitor sees. Nothing is stored afterwards.
- AI features. See the next section.
2. AI features
The AI tools — tag generation and critique, the SEO Fixer, competitor comparison, CTR scoring, keyword research and content briefs — send your request to OpenRouter through our API route, which forwards it to the configured model.
What is sent is only what that specific tool needs: the text you typed, plus — depending on the tool — the title and meta description being worked on, the list of audit findings for a page, or the snippets you asked to compare. Page body content is not sent. We do not log, store or retain any of it on our end, and it is never used to train anything of ours.
Because these requests reach a third party, please review OpenRouter's Privacy Policy to understand how they handle it. If you would rather not involve an AI provider at all, every non-AI tool on the site works without them.
3. Cookies
We do not use cookies or local storage for tracking. Your browser may cache static assets (JS, CSS) as part of normal HTTP caching — this is standard browser behavior and contains no personal information.
4. Third-party services
This site is hosted on Vercel. Vercel may collect server logs including IP addresses and user agents for security and abuse prevention. See Vercel's Privacy Policy for details. No other third-party services are used.
5. Children's privacy
This service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
